Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of landscaping, irrigation systems, and mechanical skills. Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems - Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation system components - Perform regular maintenance tasks such as adjusting sprinkler heads, cleaning filters, and replacing damaged parts - Program and adjust irrigation controllers to ensure proper watering schedules - Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation - Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper irrigation coverage for plants and turf - Dig trenches and install pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads - Perform repairs on broken or leaking pipes, valves, or sprinkler heads - Conduct system tests to identify any issues or inefficiencies - Maintain accurate records of work performed Experience: - Previous experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance - Knowledge of garden and landscape maintenance practices - Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping - Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as needed - Strong understanding of irrigation system components and their functions - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair system issues If you have a passion for lawn care, landscape maintenance, and building efficient irrigation systems, we encourage you to apply for this position.
